Harmony XVTS Smart Tower Lights

Introduction

Schneider Electric’s Harmony XVTS Smart Tower Lights are programmable LED signaling devices for industrial equipment and work areas. The series combines a transparent tower-light design with either 9 or 15 individually programmable light segments, allowing one physical indicator to communicate multiple machine or process states. Models are available with standard I/O or IO-Link operation, with white and dark-grey housing options.

What it does

Harmony XVTS tower lights provide visual status indication through high-brightness LED segments that can be programmed individually. Systems can use up to 15 programmable segments and four operating modes, supporting more detailed indication than a fixed-function stack light.

The range is offered in standard I/O versions for direct discrete-control integration and IO-Link versions for connected industrial automation architectures. An optional customizable buzzer adds audible signaling, with a specified sound level of up to 105 dB.

For demanding installations, the lights carry IP69K ingress protection and a Type 4X enclosure rating. Schneider Electric specifies LED operating life of up to 50,000 hours and an efficiency improvement of up to 95% for the series.

Design considerations

For installations exposed to washdown, dust, or harsh industrial conditions, the IP69K and Type 4X ratings are relevant enclosure considerations. Where visual indication may not be sufficient, the optional buzzer can provide an additional alarm channel. The series is certified to cULus, RCM, UKCA, and CE requirements.
