Introduction

Amphenol FCI’s FitMate 2.00mm family is a compact wire-to-board connector range for fine-pitch interconnects. The series combines a 2.00 mm pitch with low-profile options, multiple board-entry orientations, and both through-hole and surface-mount configurations. Its range of wire-size and current-rating options allows the family to address differing wiring requirements while retaining a common connector platform.

What it does

FitMate 2.00mm connectors provide a wire-to-board connection between cable assemblies and PCB-mounted headers. The family is available in single-row versions with vertical or right-angle orientations, along with DIP and SMT mounting configurations.

The compact low-profile versions support 30 AWG to 24 AWG wire and are rated for up to 2 A. Active latch lock versions support a larger 28 AWG to 20 AWG wire range and are rated for up to 3 A. This distinction enables selection between a more compact low-profile connection and a latch-equipped option for applications requiring the stated larger wire range or current rating.

Shrouded headers are intended to help prevent incorrect mating and protect contacts during assembly. Gold-plated versions are also available. The connector materials have a UL 94V-0 flammability rating, and the family is lead free and RoHS compliant.
