LattePanda Mu Ultra Active Cooler

Introduction

The DFRobot FIT1049 LattePanda Mu Ultra Active Cooler is a dedicated thermal-management assembly for the LattePanda Mu Ultra x86 Compute Module. Rather than being a general-purpose fan, it combines an aluminum alloy enclosure, pre-installed thermal pads, and an integrated high-speed fan in a form matched to the Mu Ultra platform.

What it does

FIT1049 is designed to dissipate processor heat from the LattePanda Mu Ultra x86 Compute Module. The active cooler uses a 5300 RPM fan together with thermal pads that are already installed, helping create a thermal path between the compute module and the aluminum alloy cooling assembly.

The unit operates from a 5 V supply and draws 0.35 A. Connection is through a PH2.0-4P connector, with an 80 mm cable specified with a ±5 mm tolerance. The completed assembly measures 69.6 mm × 51.5 mm × 19 mm and weighs 68 g.
