Bourns SRP4020T Power Inductors Tackle Heat and Current in Tight Spaces

These inductors use a carbonyl powder core, chosen for its magnetic stability and thermal consistency. Unlike ferrite-based options, carbonyl cores remain stable across temperature swings, allowing the SRP4020T to maintain performance up to +150 °C.

Inductance values range from 0.47 to 10 µH, with DC resistance as low as 4.8 mΩ. That low DCR helps minimise conduction losses in high-efficiency designs. Current ratings are equally solid, with saturation currents reaching 17 A (typical) and heating current limits up to 13.5 A depending on the model.
