RECOM Adds 36V - 54V Output Models to RACM30-K AC/DC Series
RECOM expands the RACM30-K power supply series with new 36V, 48V, and 54V models, supporting PoE+, medical, and industrial use cases.
RECOM has added new output variants to its RACM30-K/277/W line of AC/DC power supply modules, including 36V, 48V, and 54VDC models. These additions bring higher-voltage options to a platform already known for compact size, medical-grade isolation, and a wide selection of mounting formats.
Higher Outputs for Industrial and Networked Systems
The new models support applications requiring PoE+ injection, higher-voltage industrial control, or medical systems above 24VDC. Each version maintains the 30W continuous power rating and complies with key safety standards, including UL/IEC/EN 60601-1 for BF medical use.
With an input range of 88 to 305VAC, the RACM30-K series is built for global deployment. Isolation and leakage characteristics support reinforced insulation up to 5000m altitude, with outputs classified as Limited Power Source. In PoE+ systems, the 54V model delivers high-voltage DC with the ground isolation needed for compliant power injection.
Flexible Mounting and Reliable Thermal Design
Multiple form factors are available. The standard module is offered as open-frame, fully encapsulated, or chassis-mounted. DIN-rail versions use push-in terminals, and a sealed IP65 enclosure is available for surface-mounted or recessed wall box installation. Regardless of configuration, the footprint remains compact - just 1.5 by 2 inches for enclosed parts.
All versions operate from –40°C to +60°C at full load, extending to 90°C with derating. Protections include over-temperature, short-circuit, over-voltage, and current limiting. No additional thermal management is needed for most environments.
Built for Certified, Space-Constrained Designs
The RACM30-K family carries approvals for medical, household, industrial, test, and IT applications. EMC performance meets EN 55022 Class B with margin. Output options now span from 5V to 54V, including ±12V and ±15V bipolar variants, allowing engineers to use a single platform across multiple designs.
